The list you already have, finally earning its keep.
From regular newsletters to automated emails that follow up with new contacts, we build email marketing people are glad to open. (Just One Thing, our own newsletter, shows how we do it. Take a look!)
The problem
You are sitting on a list you never email.
Every founder-led business has one: a few hundred contacts collected over years of enquiries, events and referrals, all sitting in a platform no one's logged into in months. The reason it never gets used is not laziness, it's that nobody has decided what the email is for. So the only sends are occasional announcements. Then, open rates drop, and the whole channel stops counting.
What's included
A reason to send and the sequences to follow.
How we work
Audit, format, build, keep going.
Audit
What's on the list, where it came from, what it has been sent, and what is legally safe to use.
Decide the format
We agree on one regular email you can keep up with, based on how much time you have.
Build the engine
Templates, sign-up paths, automations and the first month of emails.
Run and refine
We write and send on a rhythm, then adjust based on what gets opened and replied to.
What you walk away with
A channel you own that does not depend on an algorithm.
You get a list that hears from you predictably, sequences that follow up when you forget to, and a direct line to your market that no platform change can take away.
It also feeds everything else: the best-performing emails become social posts, SEO content and workshop material.
Is this you?
This is usually the right starting point if…
You have a list of past enquiries and clients you never contact.
Enquiries go quiet after a proposal and nobody follows up systematically.
You want a marketing channel that does not depend on paid reach.
You already publish content that could reach the same people twice.
(Curious what our own looks like first? Read Just One Thing: same approach, just with our name on it.)
Questions we get asked
Which platform do you use?
MailerLite by default: it's cheap, capable and easy to hand over. We can work in HubSpot, Klaviyo or Mailchimp if that is where you already live.
Is my old list safe to email?
We check that before anything sends. If consent is unclear we run a re-permission campaign rather than risk your domain reputation.
How often should we send?
Weekly if the format is small and genuinely useful; monthly if it is substantial. Consistency matters far more than frequency.
Who writes it?
We do, in your voice, with your input on anything technical. Nothing goes out without your approval.
